3rd logo since 1972

 

CBShop has had a new logo since October 17, 2014.

Started with a logo with the name H. Peeters Antennebouw as text and antennas in the background in 1972. The main activities at that time were also mainly placing antennas and satellite installations.

Selling transmitting and receiving equipment was also important from the beginning. Although the owner was a radio amateur, amateur transmitting equipment was never the main part of the sales.

People from all over the Netherlands and Belgium came to the store in Overloon for 27Mc and radio scanner equipment. Mail order was also always done via advertisements. One of the few stores where you could park your truck and trailer in front of the store as a truck driver.

Because antenna construction was hardly done in 1995, the name CBShop was brought to the fore in a new logo.

The new logo  from 1995 contains a lot of detail. An antenna with transmitting circles, the mass you need to transmit, the name CBSHOP, internet, the Dutch flag and the letters communication specialist.

A bit too much detail for a logo. 

 

 

I heard from different sides that this logo had to be simpler. Especially on the website, all those details disappear. On the first 3 websites that were made since 1996, the 2nd logo was prominently on the front page. And large, so that you could see all the details well.
The new logo should also be able to do without text. A lot of thought went into that and a lot of drawing went into it.

The colours have also been adjusted to a new house style.

It is always a matter of waiting to see how people react to a new logo.
The intention is that we can work with it for a while. If it is 19 years old again, I think it will have worked out well.
