AIRCELL 7 is a new 50 ohm coaxial cable, for the frequency range from DC to 3 GHz. The attenuation, relative to the diameter is particularly low.
Its great flexibility makes this cable suitable for the most diverse purposes.
The low attenuation of AIRCELL 7 is achieved by an extremely low-loss polyethylene foam dielectric, whose air content exceeds 50%.
This material used is completely water-repellent.
The core of AIRCELL 7 is formed by a braided copper laminate and is therefore highly flexible.
The shield of AIRCELL 7 consists of an overlapping copper foil with a sheath of dense copper braiding over it.
This copper foil has a smooth polyethylene layer on the inside, which prevents cracking at a small bending radius.
The plastic sheath of AIRCELL 7 consists of UV-stabilized PVC.
The following coax connectors of particularly good quality are available for AIRCELL 7: PL-259, BNC and N-norm.
