LaserTrack Flare: based on infrared laser technology

Infrared laser systems with a wavelength (frequency) of 904 nanometers are used worldwide for measuring distance and speed because of their exceptionally narrow beam and high degree of insensitivity to atmospheric conditions. The advantage of an exceptionally narrow beam, the laser beam, is that it can be "aimed" at an object, such as a car, at a distance of hundreds of meters with great precision. Thus, distance and speed can be measured within a fraction of a second. This is all done completely invisibly, as the infrared beam cannot be identified by the human eye. The best-known laser systems are the laser guns used by the police to perform speed checks.

For integrity reasons, the highly advanced and ultra-compact LaserTrack Flare is equipped with the same technology used in police laser guns, which gives you as a user a great advantage. The system distinguishes flawlessly between signals from its own remote control transponders, the many laser safety devices* and alternatively police laser guns.

Contributing to comfortable and enjoyable driving

Opening your garden or garage door is done completely automatically by LaserTrack Flare. You don't even have to press a button! As soon as your car or motorcycle comes within range of the garden gate or garage door, the necessary access code is automatically exchanged and the gate or door swings open. For security reasons, the system uses over 4 billion codes and up to 50 different vehicles, each with their own code, can be programmed into the system.

On the road, LaserTrack Flare recognizes other road users using laser safety devices without issuing a warning. LaserTrack Flare does not interfere with these safety devices. Whether or not speed measurements from police laser guns are detected or even prevented depends on the settings selected by the user.

Remote Control

From the factory, the LaserTrack Flare functions exclusively as a remote control. This mode is permitted anywhere in the world. An audible and visual warning on the display indicates that remote control mode is active.

Laser Speed Control Detection Mode

This mode may be used virtually anywhere in the world. Please note that this mode is not substantially protective. A laser gun takes less than half a second to measure the speed of a vehicle. When LaserTrack Flare alerts you in such a case, there is no time to correct your speed. An audible and visual warning on the display indicates that laser speed control mode is active.

This mode is not allowed in most European countries. If protection mode is activated, it is important to note that protection from the police laser gun is temporary. This should give you enough time to adjust your speed, if necessary. An audible and visual warning on the display indicates that the laser speed control protection mode is active and therefore no laser gun speed measurement can be taken.
