You can expand the VIP modularly according to your wishes.

The cheapest version is GPS only and not protected against Radar and Laser.

With the VIP it is quiet in your car. With smart software, a Stinger ensures that you do not hear false alarms.

The VIP has been designed to give you longer warning distances against modern speed radars because that's when it matters. Not to extend warning ranges against normal radars, as those are already more than plenty.

Modern radars are often low power which makes them hard to discover at significant distances. But not for Stinger's HD Antenna: the Stinger patch antenna is capable of picking up the faintest of signals and maximizes warning distance against even the trickiest opponents.

The HD Antenna has been designed for U.S. operation and includes X, K, 16ms K-Band POP, 67 ms Ka POP, and Wide-Band Ka frequencies.
 
Incredible ease-of-use

The VIP’s alerting is revolutionary in its simplicity. Quiet, but loud and clear when it has to be, allowing you to fully focus on driving.
One split-second view at your Stinger display is enough. At any time, green means 'relax', yellow 'suppressed alert', and red 'full alert'. The clear pictograms tell a thousand words.

New VIP Display

Stinger VIP comes with an improved display. The adjustments in the new display

include:

• Faster response to touch thanks to a capacitive touch screen.
  
• A more beautiful image due to higher contrast and higher brightness.
• Better readability in daylight thanks to a 70% reduction in reflection.
• Tighter appearance in off position, due to completely black front view.

The new VIP display has the same dimensions as its predecessor, therefore works on the existing Display Holder,

and is also further compatible with all Stinger VIP systems.

Visor screens

Experience visor screens and you never have to wonder where exactly the flash is located. It shows whether the radar * is coming from the front, rear, or side (requires an HD Antenna in the front and rear of the car), a laser * is shooting at you from the front or the back (requires Laser in the front and rear of the car) and has a proximity indicator for SpotList alarms.

Dynamic sensitivity

We have developed something we call 'Dynamic Sensitivity'. This gives extra distance where it is needed most: at tricky speed traps. In addition, VIP provides protection against the so-called Short Pulse, Quick Trigger, or POP radar guns, as used in some European countries and the United States.

Wonderfully quiet

Stinger's unique FalseListing platform makes VIP so quiet you might think you've turned off the sound. In addition, the VIP software also includes filtering that can stop false in-car and out-of-car signals before they bother the driver. So wonderfully quiet.

Two VIP Displays: standard and XL

You can choose VIP from the standard credit card size display and the larger XL. The compact dimensions of the standard VIP display make it a popular choice to decorate the cockpit of top cars, but the XL offers other advantages: It has wider touch areas, larger icons, and twice the number of pixels. And it simply fits on the standard Display Holder.

0.0001 GIGAHERTZ accuracy

VIP Stinger's latest generation of patch technology. The Stinger HD Antenna provides VIP with by far the highest accuracy ever available for flash protection. With an accuracy of 0.0001 GHz, the Stinger's HD Antenna takes measurement accuracy to the extreme. And for good reason, because more accuracy means less false alarms. *

Clear audio alarms

VIP offers voice support (in English, Dutch, and German) and incremental SpotList alerts where the alarm rhythm will speed up as you get closer to the Spot.
