If you are looking for the latest technology in the radio scanner world, you must have the Uniden SDS 100E.

Basically just a portable computer with which you can purchase downloadable extra options, so you only pay for what you want.

True enthusiasts already work with SDR, software-defined radio technology. After all, in today's communication world, digital is becoming increasingly digital and the frequency spectrum is fuller. So in order to distinguish even the weakest signals, you have to have increasingly better equipment.

Our experience with this Uniden SDS 100 is that we have never had it better.

Costs something, but then you also have something. Expensive equipment such as a spectrum analyzer is now unused in our workshop. A device that we once paid thousands of euros for.

ADJUSTABLE COLOR SCREEN

What is also nice, that you can adjust the screen of the SDS 100E yourself. So that the information is where you find it important. I don't think it's possible with any other radio scanner in the world.

TRUE I / Q SCANNER

Let me put it this way. You do need some IQ to use this scanner optimally. If the Uniden 69 XLT can be seen as a beginner scanner, the Uniden SDS 100E is the absolute winner with more features than an ordinary listener will need. That is why there is now a Dutch manual.

DOWNLOADABLE SOFTWARE AT UNIDEN

That is also new at UNIDEN. CBShop may sell you the device but may not earn anything on updating it. That's just the way it is.

We do offer these options as a choice so that we already do this for you, so you do not have to go ahead and do it with a credit card.

And we see this as a service to you.

ProVoice (you don't need anything in Europe) you will have to buy online, we do not offer that.

What do you pay for the extra functions? (prices in December 2018)

DMR (Digital mobile radio) costs 55 euros

NXDN (Kenwood digital radio) 50 euros

ProVoice (used in EDACS trunking systems) costs 50 euros

Location-based scanning

Set your location (s) to postcode/zip code or GPS coordinates for direct reception (unfortunately only for the USA and Canada)

The Auto-locate feature determines your location if you don't know where you are. (optional)

Checks for Close Call activities between channel reception, so that active channels are not interrupted.

Automatically select what you want to scan based on your current location as provided by an external GPS unit.

Set the display color for each field in the display.

For many fields, you can select the information provided.
